Exploration Journey Story

Hi, how are ya? 🤠 I’m Brady Wilson — Exploring, Discovering, Building in Austin, Texas. Currently, I work as a Product Specialist at Apple, where I connect people with technology that enriches lives. Outside of that, I’ve spent the past seven years pursuing entrepreneurial ventures. From launching a clothing brand start-up, then pivoting to branding/marketing/investing after learning from my clothing brand failure.

My background blends branding/marketing/investing and technology. I’ve collaborated on a lot of cool projects over the years that sharpened my skills, to name a few; Caper Carts with Instacart, Market Research/Product Development with Champion Clothing, Start-up Clothing Brand Launch with Frill. I believe innovation fuels what’s next. Thinking different, critically analyzing and dialing in all the details refine things to be great.

Beyond my professional life, I have a lot of hobbies! I’m passionate about running, lifting, swimming, biking, flying my drone, cold plunging, coffee, sauna, boating, creative storytelling, connecting to local farms, the list could go on…

At the core, I believe in staying curious and building with purpose. My focus is on curating experiences, researching/analyzing markets, and developing the best products. All of this positions me to help people unlock their potential.

Exploration Journey Timeline

  • Launched Frill (Clothing Brand Start-up)

    August 2018-June 2019
    • Built a start-up clothing brand.
    • Grew/managed various media platforms: Instagram ~2,500 followers / Email List ~1,000 subscribers.
    • Sold ~50 pieces of clothing/accessories over 10 months of operation generating ~$1,200 in sales through various sales channels (Events, DTC, Influencer Marketing, Word of Mouth Marketing).

  • Customer Service Specialist at Target

    September 2020-March 2023
    • Managed guest interactions, process product returns, resolve conflicts.
    • Led task initiatives, organize for efficiency, communicate with team to ensure all goals are completed.

  • Market Research/Product Development Co-op at Champion (Clothing)

    September 2023-April 2024
    • Gathered market data, including trends and clothing styles.
    • Organized data and presented for project topics.
    • Participated in the product development process for future projects.

  • Lead Brand Ambassador at Instacart

    February 2024-August 2024
    • Educated and onboarded 100+ customers weekly to adopt AI-powered Caper Carts, elevating user experience and product adoption.
    • Managed and trained multiple ambassador teams (5–6 people each) to deliver consistent messaging, strengthen execution, and build confidence in customer engagements.
    • Partnered with corporate executives during demos and store visits, demonstrating polished communication and product positioning tailored to leadership audiences.
    • Gathered and reported customer insights to corporate product teams, directly influencing feature refinement and development roadmap.
